Field Specialist III

Weatherford is seeking a motivated and safety-focused FieldSpecialist to support field operations, equipment maintenance, and service delivery at customer wellsites. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing operations safely and efficiently while ensuring the highest levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all HSE, Quality, Security, and Compliance standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.

Operations

• Plan, prepare, mobilize, execute, and document field service activities.
• Operate, test, maintain, and troubleshoot tools and equipment.
• Monitor operational data and recommend technical solutions.
• Complete job reports, service tickets, and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Manage inventory and materials required at the wellsite.
• Support equipment failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Deliver exceptional service quality and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as required.

Technical Support

• Apply mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic principles to field operations.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical checks when required.
• Support installation and commissioning of field equipment.
• Mentor and guide junior field personnel.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Mechanics
  • Hydraulics & Pneumatics
  • Electricity & Electronics
  • Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry
  • Computer Fundamentals

Preferred

• Technical Certificate from an accredited Technical/Vocational School.
