KNOW THE ROLE

The Seasonal Online Fulfillment Operative will support the efficient, accurate, and safe fulfilment of customer orders during peak trading periods. The role involves picking, packing, and dispatching orders while maintaining high operational standards, working collaboratively as part of a team, and contributing to the achievement of daily dispatch targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare online customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily dispatch targets
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and support a proactive safety culture on the fulfilment floor
• Check items against orders to prevent incorrect, damaged, or substandard goods being dispatched to customers
• Follow all pick, pack, and dispatch processes with a detail-focused and data-driven approach, including scanning and system updates at each stage
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised fulfilment work area, supporting operational excellence
• Support daily workload and online order volumes, contributing to team and departmental dispatch targets
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards consistently
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across picking, packing, and dispatch, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication
• Use handheld scanners and packing equipment confidently; prior warehouse or fulfilment experience is an advantage
• Assist in resolving day-to-day challenges using resourcefulness and accountability
• Help maintain efficient order flow through effective planning, organisation, and prioritisation during peak volumes
• Support peak trading through adaptability, including overtime, weekends, and varied shifts across the Christmas period
• Contribute to a culture of creativity and innovation by identifying process improvements.

KNOW WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Flexitility to work across a 7-day operation with weekend work, varied shifts, and overtime
• Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn
• A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, multidimensional environment
• Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a high-quality experience
• Ability to meet deadlines with good organisation, prioritisation, and multitasking skills
• Forklift or picker certification advantageous or willingness to train
• Confident using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability, resilience, and a positive attitude in changing environments
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
