IT Programme Manager - Manufacturing Application Landscape Transformation & Rollout

  • MM Group
  • Vienna, Austria
  • €90,000 – €120,000

Req ID: 2069

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time

Define the core. Lead the change. See your impact.

You want to shape a Manufacturing Application Landscape rather than inherit a finished one. You combine programme leadership with the technical depth to challenge solutions, set standards and turn decisions into results.

At MM, you will co-lead a board-sponsored, company-wide Manufacturing Application Landscape transformation in our Packaging division. From template design and improvement to international rollout, your decisions will influence how our businesses and locations operate for years to come.

As a leader in consumer packaging, MM empowers customers with innovative, recyclable fibre-based solutions, advanced technologies and deep know-how. Its portfolio spans packaging, labels and leaflets, cartonboard, kraft papers and uncoated fine papers. With an integrated value chain and a presence in around 30 countries, MM supports customers’ brand and ESG goals – enabling people to live better lives on a better planet.

For our Group IT / Digital Business Solutions team in Vienna, we are looking for an experienced IT Programme Manager who is ready to take ownership of the technical delivery.

You will help defining the architecture, protect the standards and see the results take shape across MM.

Your impact

You will co-lead the Manufacturing Application Landscape transformation from template improvement to international rollout.

  • Own technical delivery across template and rollout waves
  • Orchestrate architecture, integration and technical workstreams
  • Drive standardisation across businesses and locations
  • Protect the global template and challenge unnecessary customisation
  • Manage dependencies across our core systems (ERP, planning, MES, Data & Analytics) for our manufacturing plants
  • Turn complexity into clear Steering Committee decisions
  • Hold implementation partners accountable for quality, budget and delivery
  • Resolve risks and escalations with speed and transparency
  • Align business, technology teams and external partners

Your work will connect processes, data and technology across an international industrial group. The standards you establish will enable the foundation for simpler processes, better decisions and future automation.

What you bring

You know how to steer complex programmes, challenge technical solutions and maintain momentum when the pressure is on.

  • A strong track record in complex, international Manufacturing Application Landscape programmes
  • Experience leading implementation partners and holding them accountable for results
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools and modern delivery methods to accelerate programme execution, with the confidence to challenge vendors on their approach, maturity and value delivered
  • Sound knowledge of enterprise platforms, ideally D365 F&O and EPS printflow
  • Strong expertise in integration and interface architecture
  • Experience harmonising complex system landscapes
  • Strong business processes understanding of a production plant
  • Confidence to advise and constructively challenge senior executives
  • A pragmatic approach and a clear standardisation mindset
  • The ability to decide, mobilise and deliver under pressure
  • Fluent executive-level English; German is an advantage

What you can expect

You will have the mandate and proximity to decision-makers needed to make a visible difference.

  • Clear sponsorship from the Executive Board
  • Real influence over MM’s future architecture and technology standards
  • Significant investment in enterprise technology, data, automation and AI
  • Transformation at international industrial scale
  • Direct access to senior decision-makers
  • Freedom to act and responsibility for results
  • Knowledgeable colleagues who take ownership and deliver together

At MM, expertise comes with a point of view. Ownership means making decisions and carrying them through to results. You will work with people who focus on what matters, turn complexity into action and deliver together – passionately, collaboratively, responsibly and with a clear focus on results.

Bring your expertise. Take ownership. Shape the digital core.

Your annual compensation package will reflect your qualifications and professional experience and will be agreed in a personal discussion, taking local market conditions into account.

Ready to see your impact across MM? We look forward to hearing from you.
