Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of Community Safety services across the City of Stirling. This customer-focused position provides high-quality administrative support across a varied portfolio, helping ensure enquiries, infringements, registrations, permits, records and correspondence are handled efficiently, accurately and professionally.

Working as part of a collaborative business support team, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, support the smooth operation of Community Safety functions and help deliver responsive services for our community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide responsive customer and administrative support
  • Process infringements, reviews and correspondence
  • Administer animal registrations, renewals and refunds
  • Process animal and parking permit applications
  • Maintain accurate records and indexed documents
  • Support purchase orders and requisitions
  • Collate evidence files when required
  • Contribute to projects and continuous improvement

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an organised, service-minded administrator who can communicate confidently, manage competing priorities and support fair, efficient outcomes for the community. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Sound problem-solving and customer service focus
  • Ability to interpret legislation and local laws
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Administration, finance or project support experience
  • Experience with local government corporate systems (eg TechnologyOne) and enforcement practices is desirable.

Additional Information
To be successful in this role, you will need to provide a National Police Clearance less than three months old and hold a current driver’s licence.
