About the YourEMR Program
Grampians Health (GH) and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) are partnering to deliver Victoria’s first shared Electronic Medical Record (EMR) across rural, regional and metropolitan Victoria. The YourEMR Program is a multi-year initiative that will implement an enterprise digital platform across ambulatory, inpatient and community-based services, creating a more connected and integrated healthcare experience for patients and clinicians.
The program will bring together a multidisciplinary team to design, build and implement a contemporary EMR platform that supports safe, high-quality and patient centred care across both organisations. Working closely with clinicians, operational staff, consumers and key stakeholders, the YourEMR team will drive operational transformation and enable greater collaboration across health services.
About the Role
The EMR Data Cleansing Team Leader is responsible for coordinating a dedicated data cleansing program at SVHM focused on the identification, validation, and remediation of data issues and errors in existing administrative and clinical systems. The role will provide oversight to a small team of Junior Support Officers, collectively completing data cleansing tasks in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
The role provides operational coordination of the cleansing tasks and quality assurance across all data remediation activities. Working closely with stakeholders across SVHM including Health Information Services (HIS) and the Decision Support Unit (DSU), the Team Leader will embed the agreed processes across their team.
Key tasks within this position include:
The completion data cleansing activities in alignment with process and policy;
The support and coordination of a small team of staff completing the same work; and
Collaboration with HIS and DSU to ensure alignment of process and quality assurance.
Classifications for this position will be HS2.
