We’re looking for an Accounts Officer to join our Financial Shared Services team on a 12-months max term, full-time contract based at our (West Perth and Joondalup) office.

As a key member of the finance shared services team, you will primarily be responsible for supporting procurement activities across the organisation, while administering the provision of operational Accounts services and contributing to the strategic and operational performance of the Group.

What will you be doing?

  • Raise purchase requisitions & receipts for assigned business areas;
  • System and process subject matter expert with solid understanding in end-to-end procurement operations;
  • Conduct proc and AP training as required for wider teams;
  • Manage group inbox daily ensuring resolution of requests, and queries in relation to procurement within 48 hours turnaround time;
  • Create suppliers, members and employees in system;
  • Support annual audit;
  • Review of weekly open PO report and take necessary action on open Pos;
  • Provide other support to Accountants and finance teams as required;
  • Ensure accurate procurement database is maintained in financial system.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Experience in end-to-end procurement process within a financial system Solid transactional experience within a medium to large sized services business, along with strong administrational, analytical, and numerical skills and good technical acumen.
  • Microsoft Dynamics F&O System experience preferred, not essential.
  • Experience in conducting training (especially procurement) will be a bonus.
  • Prior experience working in shared services team is an added advantage.
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office products mainly intermediate knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Demonstrate initiative and have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with large amounts of data quickly and accurately.
  • An ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to fast paced changing environment.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting/bookkeeping (Desirable).
