Gaming Attendant

Join the FOH Team at Newnham Hotel

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Gaming Attendant to join the team at Newnham Hotel.

You'll work across our Gaming Room, Sports Bar, TAB and Keno, delivering great service and creating a fun and welcoming experience for our guests.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide friendly and attentive service to gaming patrons
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests
• Monitor the gaming room and ensure it is clean, safe and well presented
• Assist guests with gaming-related enquiries
• Prepare and serve beverages as required
• Assist with TAB and Keno operations where required
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Follow all responsible service, gaming regulations and venue procedures
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Support the wider Front of House team when required

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a current QLD RSA and RSG
• Has previous gaming experience, preferred but not essential
• Has TAB and Keno knowledge, highly regarded
• Has excellent customer service and communication skills
• Is reliable, responsible and professional
• Brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Can work confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys building rapport with guests
• Is flexible and available across evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Has valid Australian working rights
