Film and Content Intern

Wedded Wonderland: Film and Content Internship Program

We're building the future of wedding storytelling, and we want your most promising film students in the room.

The Opportunity

Wedded Wonderland is a global destination wedding brand scaling into cinematic content production. We're moving beyond traditional social media clips into a full omnichannel cinematic pipeline, starting on YouTube, expanding across every platform, and building toward a long-term goal of premium episodic content. Think docuseries energy applied to real weddings, real couples, and real love stories, shot and cut like something people actually want to sit down and watch.

Where We're Heading

We're developing toward a luxury content series, think proper artistic direction, recurring characters, real plotlines, short films built for the feed. This isn't just wedding footage, it's narrative content with a cinematic identity, aimed at growing into a full television style series over time.

What Interns Will Actually Do

  • Get hands-on production experience filming real content inside a working studio and office environment, constantly, not just on occasional shoot days
  • Develop and pitch original scripts and series concepts, then see them move into actual production
  • Work across cinematic shoot days, interviews, and narrative-style content, not just quick turnaround social clips
  • Learn an end-to-end pipeline, from concept and script to shoot to edit to release
  • Build a real portfolio of produced, published work across a major global brand's channels

Who We're Looking For

  • Film, media, or production students who think in shots, story, and pacing
  • People who want to build, not just observe, someone who'll bring ideas and push to get them made
  • Anyone hungry to work on something ambitious early, before it's a finished thing

Why It Matters

This isn't just an internship. It's a chance to help build a production pipeline from the ground up, with real creative ownership, at a brand actively scaling its cinematic ambitions.

Production Elements Students Should Be Comfortable With

  • Confident camera operation and filming technique, understanding how to move on set and capture usable footage efficiently
  • General set production knowledge, understanding how a shoot day actually runs and what's needed to support it
  • Equipment knowledge, comfortable working with cameras, lenses, lighting rigs, audio gear, and general on set kit
  • Shot composition and framing, working beyond standard coverage into intentional, cinematic angles
  • Lighting setups for both interview and narrative style scenes
  • Color grading and establishing a consistent visual tone across a series
  • Sound design and music selection that supports pacing and emotion, not just background noise
  • Storyboarding and shot listing ahead of a shoot day
  • Editing for narrative flow, not just fast cuts, understanding when to let a moment breathe
  • Directing talent and subjects on camera, including real couples and interview subjects who aren't professional performers
