Wood is currently recruiting an Offshore Site Supervisor to support one of our key client partners on a major brownfield Oil & Gas EPCM contract.
This is a contract opportunity offering an immediate start, working on an even-time 3:3 FIFO roster from Perth, WA. You'll join a growing offshore team supporting maintenance, operations, and project activities, working 12-hour day or night shifts in a dynamic offshore environment.

Wood’s “Operations” APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimisation, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.
Reporting to the Offshore Superintendent, the Offshore Site Supervisor will be responsible for leading and coordinating offshore work crews to ensure maintenance and project activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with client and Wood standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise offshore personnel and contractors to deliver maintenance and project work safely and efficiently.
- Promote a strong safety culture through compliance with Permit to Work, Isolation Management, SIMOPS and client HSE requirements.
- Coordinate daily work activities, resources, materials and offshore logistics to meet operational priorities and project schedules.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved procedures, engineering standards and quality requirements.
- Monitor work progress, provide daily reporting and proactively address schedule or resource constraints.
- Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution of offshore work scopes.
- Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing offshore workforce.

Expected:
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to HSE principles and process safety leadership.
- Qualifications: Relevant trade certification or engineering degree. Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, MSIC) is a requirement
- Experience: Proven experience leading offshore teams within Oil & Gas, LNG, FPSO or FLNG environments.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of maintenance, construction and offshore work execution activities.
- Leadership: Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary work groups in live operational facilities as well as demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of delivering safe and efficient outcomes.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills & ability to manage competing priorities within high-pressure offshore environments.
Qualifications & Tickets:
- Relevant Trade Certificate (Cert III / Cert IV)
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent supervisory training (preferred).
- BOSIET/T-BOSIET or FOET/T-FOET + CA-EBS – valid within 4 years
- MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
- RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights – valid within 2 years
- Escape Chute – valid within 4 years (desirable)
