Job Description
We are seeking and experienced Civil Drafter to join our Urban Transport team on Gold Coast.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing drafting for concept design through to construction certification for simple to complex road, pavement, cycleway, and DDA compliant infrastructure.
- Producing detailed civil drawings for small to large scale greenfield and brownfield developments, as well as commercial, industrial, and medium density projects.
- Collaborating within project teams of engineers, receiving technical advice and direction to navigate through technical challenges and issues.
Qualifications
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience ranging from beginner to expert level, with demonstrated technical exposure to urban transport or civil engineering.
- A Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design, Engineering Drafting, or a related qualification.
- Technical expertise in civil design drafting with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal engagements.
- Proficiency in industry standard software packages such as AutoCAD, or 12d.
