Trade Marketing Coordinator, Wines & Spirits

Stansfeld Scott (Barbados) Ltd is seeking a highly organised Trade Marketing Coordinator to ensure optimum sales, visibility and promotion of the assigned brands within existing and new trade channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual Operational Trade Marketing plan for assigned brands
  • Translate brand plans into channel-specific executions and develop promotional calendars
  • Ensure strong in-market execution and brand visibility, including correct point-of-sale placement, coordinated brand activation and consistent brand standards across all channels
  • Work closely with Brand & Sales teams in the development and procurement of point-of-sale materials for assigned brands & ensure stock is adequately managed and controlled
  • Manage the allocated trade budgets in collaboration with Commercial Managers, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and tracked
  • Work closely with Sales, Merchandising & Promo teams to ensure that all in-store promotional activities are executed according to plan
  • In collaboration with Sales & Merchandising, negotiate placement of permanent & semi-permanent point-of-sale materials
  • Monitor and report all competitive activity in the trade for assigned brands
  • Coordinate, manage & execute all required Trade Marketing activations for the brands assigned

Requirements

  • At least four (4) years FMCG experience
  • Experience, understanding and appreciation of brand marketing and social influencing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
  • A Diploma or Degree in Marketing or related discipline preferred
