The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for the production, proofing and delivery of document templates related to the Policy Administration System (PAS) project deliverables based on customized internal client requirements. The incumbent will also coordinate deadlines, maintain tracking and logs and acts as a technical support person for template inquiries, bugs or updates.

How you will create impact:

  • Interpret and analyze required specifications and consult with internal clients to obtain a clear understanding of requirements, negotiate deadlines, provide guidance on organization and flow of projects.
  • Produce professionally formatted English and French document templates using design software.
  • Plan and conduct user Unit Testing on templates to ensure they operate as they were designed.
  • Perform quality checks of all published documents including electronic navigation.
  • Act as the technical support person for templates, including keeping versions up-to-date, and fixing bugs that exist in templates
  • Maintain a database tracking system of all published and archived projects and provide ongoing communication with project team on progress, issues, status, etc.
  • Implement and maintain best practices related to document templates for the team and continually improve existing processes and procedures to meet the changing needs.

To join our team:

  • Completion of Secondary education or equivalent.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of file/data management, archiving and document formatting and styles
  • Basic understanding of underwriting products and assets that need to be developed.
  • Advanced template designer (SC) training is an asset.
  • Experience with Unit testing methodology is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy in the production of templates and documents
  • Strong ability to analyze and problem-solve as the technical support go-to for the system and templates
  • This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary/hourly range $43,550- $72,583

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Sovereign in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
