Sales Support Specialist – JLL
What this job involves:
As a Sales Support Specialist supporting our Solutions Development (SD) team, you'll be the guardian of data integrity within our Salesforce Data Quality Program. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that every opportunity in our pipeline reflects accurate, complete, and current information—empowering leadership to make confident, data-driven decisions worth millions of dollars. You'll partner directly with deal owners as their dedicated data quality ally, proactively catching gaps, managing Salesforce records, and ensuring compliance with our Sales Pursuit Process at every stage. This role offers a unique vantage point into JLL's strategic pursuit efforts while building critical skills in sales operations, CRM management, and business intelligence. If you're energized by bringing order to complexity and enabling sales excellence through data precision, this is your opportunity to make an immediate, measurable impact.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead Recurring Pipeline Reviews: Own and facilitate fortnightly or monthly pipeline check-ins with each assigned SD partner, setting agendas, pulling current Salesforce data, and flagging opportunities with missing or outdated fields before month-end closes
- Execute Real-Time Data Management: Enter and update Salesforce records live during partner meetings, ensuring all critical fields are captured accurately and saved immediately while documenting any incomplete information for follow-up
- Conduct Stage Gate Validations: Perform mandatory field verification at each stage transition for all assigned opportunities, ensuring complete compliance with Sales Pursuit Process requirements before deals progress
- Participate in Vertical Pipeline Meetings: Attend existing monthly pipeline meetings for assigned verticals to capture inputs, edits, and data changes discussed, translating conversations into accurate Salesforce updates
- Provide Proactive Risk Alerts: Identify and escalate risks related to dates, pricing, or other critical data elements that could compromise pipeline accuracy or leadership visibility
- Support Ad-Hoc Salesforce Needs: Assist SD partners with opportunity set-up, record configuration, deal close-out activities, and other Salesforce-related requests as they arise
- Maintain Documentation Standards: Log each completed checkpoint using manager-provided tracking methods, creating an audit trail that demonstrates data quality progress and program effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting sales teams with data entry, pipeline management, or sales operations activities in a corporate environment
- Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience with demonstrated proficiency in data entry, record management, opportunity tracking, and navigating sales-focused CRM workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to maintain data accuracy while managing multiple concurrent pipelines in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong meeting facilitation skills with ability to own recurring cadences, set clear agendas, hold stakeholders accountable, and drive meetings to actionable outcomes
- Advanced written and verbal English communication with comfort working across remote sales teams, escalating issues professionally, and translating business needs into data requirements
- Effective time management and prioritization capabilities to balance time-sensitive stage gate checkpoints across multiple SD partners simultaneously
- Self-directed work style with ability to proactively identify data gaps, follow up persistently to obtain missing information, and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with commercial real estate sales processes, including pursuit stages, proposal cycles, and client engagement workflows typical in B2B professional services
- Prior sales operations or business development support experience in an administrative, data quality, or enablement capacity
- Proficiency with Excel-based tracking systems including pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and data validation alongside CRM platform expertise
- Experience with sales stage gate processes or deal progression frameworks requiring compliance checkpoints and mandatory field completion
- Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboards with ability to pull pipeline reports, create views, and interpret opportunity data trends
- Understanding of data governance principles including data quality metrics, audit trails, and documentation standards in enterprise systems
