Accounting Analyst I – Payroll

The Accounting Analyst I - Payroll is responsible for supporting payroll and accounting processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant employee payments and financial reporting. This role performs payroll calculations and reviews, maintains timekeeping and payroll systems, prepares journal entries and account reconciliations, and supports month-end close activities.

The position partners with HR, Operations, Production, and external stakeholders to analyze payroll-related data, ensure compliance with labor and regulatory requirements, and provide reporting and insights that support business decision-making. The role also contributes to process improvements, internal controls, and the integrity of payroll and financial information across the organization.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in payroll, accounting, or related financial processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and Softland is preferred.
• Knowledge of Costa Rican labor regulations and payroll practices.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and results orientation.
