We are looking for Melting Technicians (m/f/d) to work in casting department. You will be a decisive factor in the creation of our aluminum castings for the new Model Y, which will be the first to roll off the production line in our Gigafactory.

What You’ll Do

• You supply the melting furnaces with new and return material
• You fill the holding furnaces with melting material
• You clean, maintain and care for the melting and holding furnaces and also carry out minor repairs to the refractory lining as required
• You carry out and document melt analyses

What You’ll Bring

• You have completed vocational training in a metalworking (e.g. foundry mechanic) or skilled trade (e.g. bricklayer, concrete worker) profession. profession with
• You have several years of experience in the metalworking industry, as well as knowledge and experience in the melting process
• You bring desirably additional certificates such as a forklift license
• You have a hands-on mentality, as well as the willingness to work shifts in a 4-shift system
• You are fluent in English or/and German
• Candidates are expected to uphold and actively promote sustainability principles in their daily work, operating in line with Tesla Global Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Policy and EMAS requirements, fostering a culture of continuous environmental improvement.
