About the role
You will lead our work to combine what customers say and what they do by optimising our use of our proprietary customer research panel. You will use advanced analytics to help us understand panellist behaviour, improve panel health and optimise how the panel is used. You will develop insights, tools and automated reporting that help the team make better decisions and maintain an engaged, representative panel. By enabling us to combine survey, behavioural and customer data you will help generate actionable insight, improve research design and support strategic decisions.

You will be responsible for
- Building behavioural research capability through coaching, guidance and reusable tools such as SQL query templates and automated reports.
- Supporting on ad hoc research projects that require combining attitudinal and behavioural customer data, identifying where behavioural data can add value.
- Understanding the drivers of panellist recruitment, engagement, response and lapse through advanced analytics.
- Monitoring panel and providing guidance on panel usage, sample targeting and survey invitation distribution to support effective and balanced panel management.
- Developing dashboards, automated reporting and scalable analytical tools.
- Improving panel data processes and translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for Home Panel and Research teams.
- Acting as the analytical steward for Home Panel data, reviewing key datasets, processes and system outputs to ensure data quality, consistency and fitness for purpose.
You will need
- Strong experience in customer, behavioural, CRM or panel analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience using tools such as Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI
- Experience applying statistical, predictive or diagnostic analytical techniques.
- Understanding of quantitative research methodologies, including sampling.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to turn complex analysis into practical recommendations.
- A proactive and practical approach with strong attention to detail.
