Seasonal Attractions Team Leader
- TAG Live®
- London, United Kingdom
- £30,000
Seasonal role - contract dates November December 2026 and early January 2027
About the Role
Are you ready to lead the team that brings the magic of Christmas to life? We are looking for energetic, inspiring, and highly organised Attractions Team Leaders to guide our seasonal team.
In this vital role, you won't just be delivering SUPERHERO service yourself, you will be motivating, supporting, and coordinating our Attractions Hosts to ensure they do the same. From overseeing the bustling ice rink and dazzling light trail to managing team rotations and troubleshooting guest enquiries, you are the operational glue of our festive event. Working closely with Event Controllers and the Event Duty Manager, you will ensure the event runs safely, smoothly, and beautifully.
If you are a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves creating unforgettable memories, we want you to lead our team!
Our Values: Do You Fit the Vibe?
- Keep it real: We are authentic, transparent, and ego-free.
- Go all in: We bring passion to everything we do, showing up with energy, creativity, and heart.
- Make it happen: We take ownership, get things done, and deliver with accountability and pride.
- Pivot like a pro: We adapt fast, stay flexible, and turn change into opportunity.
- Good energy only: We choose positivity, support others, and lift those around us.
Main Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Support
- Inspire SUPERHERO Service: Lead by example. Show the team how to "swoop in first" to greet guests, and actively coach Hosts to anticipate guest needs with warmth, enthusiasm, and a festive smile.
- Daily Coordination: Manage staff rotations, break schedules, and position assignments across all attraction zones (Grotto, Ice Rink, Light Trail, Car Park, and Guest Services).
- Team Motivation: Keep team morale high, even during freezing nights and peak hours, bringing "good energy only" to every shift briefing.
Operational Excellence & Communication
- Control Room Liaison: Maintain open, two way communication with Event Controllers, responding to incidents and challenges as required
- Duty Manager Support: Work hand-in-hand with the Event Duty Manager, providing feedback on your team, escalating operational bottlenecks, and assisting with overall site management.
- Zone Supervision: Actively walk the site to ensure the Guest Services Desk, Grotto check-in, Light Trail entry, and Skate Hire desk are operating efficiently and looking immaculate.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first point of escalation for complex guest queries, ticketing issues, booking amendments, or accessibility needs.
Health, Safety & Site Standards
- Incident Management: Coordinate swiftly with the Event Duty Manager and first-aid teams in the event of any incidents. You may be required to deputise for the Duty Manager and maintain business continuity in the event of an incident
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all Attractions Hosts are adhering to safe operating procedures and that guest-facing areas remain tidy, hazard-free, and clean.
- Site Pride: Monitor presentation across the site, directing Hosts to maintain pristine cleanliness standards through quick litter-picks and table wipe-downs.
Financial & Stock Management
- Driving Performance: Motivate the Guest Services team to meet targets for upselling tickets, upgrades, and packages.
- POS & Cash Handling Support: Assist Hosts with point-of-sale (POS) troubleshooting, booking amendments, and secure transaction processes.
- Stock Oversight: Overall oversight and management of Grotto stock levels, ensuring we are never caught short at any point of the operation
Key Characteristics & Qualities Required
- Natural Leader: Confident in giving direction, motivating a diverse seasonal team, and maintaining high morale in cold weather or high-pressure situations.
- Adaptable & Resilient: A master of the "pivot like a pro" mindset. You can seamlessly transition your team from car park marshalling to peak skate hire support at a moment’s notice.
- Exceptional Communicator: Professional, clear, and calm when dealing with guests, staff, Event Controllers, and the Event Duty Manager.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You don’t wait for operational issues to pile up; you anticipate bottlenecks, adjust staff positioning, and "make it happen" behind the scenes.
- Reliable & Accountable: Punctual, trustworthy, and fully committed to holding yourself and your team to the highest standards of safety and magic.
- Festive Spirit: A genuine love for the holiday season that shines through in your leadership style, inspiring your team to keep the Christmas magic alive.
- Contract Type: Full-Time (Part time may be considered dependent on availability)
Hours: Flexible shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (essential for spreading Christmas cheer!)
