Inside Sales Executive – Cross Trades

Full time, permanent

We are looking for a confident, motivated, and commercially aware individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, be highly organised, and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and customers across a global network. A proactive and customer-focused approach is essential, along with a desire to contribute to the continued success of MSC's Cross Trades business.

How you will help us and what you can expect

• Timely and accurate processing of quotations and tenders, with on-going account monitoring.
• Drive to build relationships and develop volume with current client base while increasing the portfolio of accounts with new customers.
• Use in-house systems such as TMS, Link & the One Vision Platform (OVQ, CRM, OVPricing).
• A proactive attitude to solving business issues, working closely and collaborating with MSC offices around the world.
• Contribute to a positive work climate through a flexible attitude to work, supporting colleagues and living MSC's brand values.

Qualifications and Experience:

Skills and experience you’ll bring to us

• Excellent attention to detail, which is essential in this role.
• Experience within the container shipping or wider logistics industry is highly desirable.
• Resilient under pressure with the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build close working relationships with internal teams, MSC overseas offices, and customers.
• Strong IT skills especially in the Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word & PowerBI programmes.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
