Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Friday's. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.
Salary - Circa £15,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.
The Role…
As Women’s Health’s Fashion Features Editor, you will oversee the Wear Well section of the magazine – writing features on the intersection of athleisure and culture, producing product pages and building strong relationships with brands. Playing an integral role in a small team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of the brand.
Main Duties…
- Pitch and write conversation-starting features on athleisure and wellness culture
- Oversee the product-led Kit List, Fit Kit Hero and Well Spent franchises of the magazine
- Build strong relationships with athleisure and fitness brands
- Represent Women’s Health at launches and other industry events
- Pitch ideas that span all our content pillars - nutrition, fitness, mental health, female health and athleisure – in our monthly features conference
What We Are Looking For…
- You will have experience on a fashion desk, be that an in-house role at a magazine or newspaper or significant bylines as a freelancer
- You will have a portfolio of fashion features and will be confident pitching and producing print-ready pieces to a deadline
- You will have strong industry contacts, particularly in fitness and athleisure
- You will have a demonstrable interest in health and wellness
- You will be a team-player, happy to contribute to other areas of the brand as required
