Location: Drogheda, On site
Working hours: Monday – Friday, Monday- Thursday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00-3:30 PM, 39 hours

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Demand Planner to be responsible for forecasting customer demand of all retail products on site. To be responsible for capacity modelling of the HFI site for both operations and logistics. To work closely with the planning manager to generate a rolling 52 week outlook of capacity demands To be the key point of contact for our internal commercial team and the customers supply chain teams
Key responsibilities as a Demand Planner will be to:

  • Analysing historical sales, seasonal demand, weather changes and upcoming promotions to predict future consumer demand
  • To generate seasonal plans using the tools we have to ensure effective delivery at the planned cost
  • To manage Quintiq new releases
  • To model the demand and requirement for the logistics resources on site (NAWI, Manual warehouse) and manage any pinch points
  • Daily review of customer forecast vs orders
  • To manage new product set ups within the planning files to ensure smooth launches
  • To participate in site NPD meetings to ensure full visibility of any upcoming product changes
  • Daily attendance of the DRM2 and Planning Meetings
  • Daily communication with the planning manager, planners and raw material schedulers to discuss forecast changes
  • Tracking of service level at SKU Level and ensuring we have clear historical info
  • To highlight “problem” products that are underperforming for the site and/or for the customer
  • Assisting accounts with debit note queries

Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Demand Planner will include:

  • Excellent experience and proficiency of Microsoft Office specifically Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English –
  • Experience in forecasting
  • Experience in working with a retail customers
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
