Deli Assistant (Part-Time)

MACE Shanagolden is looking for a friendly and motivated Part-Time Deli Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help deliver excellent customer service, prepare and serve fresh food, and maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation within the deli department.

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Prepare, cook, and serve food in accordance with company procedures and food safety standards
• Ensure food displays are fully stocked, attractive, and properly rotated
• Follow HACCP and food safety requirements at all times
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the deli area
• Handle customer queries in a professional and helpful manner
• Assist with stock control, deliveries, and waste management
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the store

Requirements

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures, with the ability to follow food safety standards at all times

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

• Reliable, flexible, and motivated approach to work

• Previous deli, food service, or retail experience is an advantage but not essential
