Deli / Sales Assistant (Full-Time)

Londis Castletroy, Limerick is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Full-Time Deli / Sales Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Prepare and serve deli products in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the deli and shop floor
• Monitor stock levels and assist with merchandising and stock replenishment
• Receive and store deliveries in line with company procedures
• Promote products and special offers to customers
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong numerical and cash-handling abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a positive, self-motivated attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene practices would be beneficial
• Previous retail, deli, or customer service experience is an advantage
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, mornings, evenings, and weekends
