Production Operator – Evening Shift
Location: Gort, Co. Galway
Contract Type: Temporary, 3-month contract
Shift: Evening Shift, Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:00am
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team in Gort, Co. Galway on a temporary 3-month contract. This evening shift role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and wants to contribute to the manufacture of high-quality products that support patient care.
What You’ll Do
• Set up and operate production equipment in line with established procedures.
• Convert raw materials and components into finished goods.
• Pack, assemble, and inspect finished components or parts to required standards.
• Complete routine and moderately complex production tasks with increasing independence.
• Follow defined processes to resolve routine issues and escalate where guidance is needed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support production targets, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, agility, and respect.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment, completing standard assignments with moderate supervision while showing initiative, good judgment, and a willingness to learn.
• Leaving Cert or equivalent level of education.
• Typically, 1–2 years of relevant experience in a production, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Ability to perform routine tasks independently and follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Computer literate, with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
