We are growing our Project Management team and are looking for an Assistant Project Manager based in Milan to help us shape what comes next.

The opportunity

In this role, you will support engineering projects that depend on technical quality, collaboration and a forward-looking approach, while developing your project management skills.

We are looking for someone curious, collaborative and motivated by meaningful work. Senior project managers and project controls colleagues will support you as you grow into the role.

How you will make an impact

Your work will support the delivery of engineering and multidisciplinary projects. Your main focus areas will include:

· Supporting project scope, schedules, budgets and deliverables from start to completion.

· Monitoring progress, performance, risks and changes, and escalating issues where appropriate.

· Preparing project documentation, plans, reports, registers and communication materials.

· Coordinating with clients, partners, subconsultants and internal teams to support delivery.

· Applying WSP project management tools, methodologies and governance standards.

What you will bring to the role

· A degree in engineering, project management or related technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

· Initial experience in project management, project control or project engineering within consultancy, engineering, construction or industrial environments.

· Understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, reporting and change management.

· Confidence using planning, reporting and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel or equivalent platforms.

· Clear communication skills in Italian and English, with curiosity, ownership and strong collaboration skills.

Compensation and benefits

WSP is committed to pay transparency. The annual gross salary range for this position is between €27,000 and €30,000. The final offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications and relevant expertise.
