Supply Chain Specialist | Italy

Position Overview

Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for coordinating logistics activities related to product shipments under FCA and CPT Incoterms. This role acts as a key point of contact between customers, plants, commercial teams, and logistics providers to ensure efficient deliveries, inventory management, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics processes for FCA and CPT shipments, ensuring compliance with Incoterms requirements.
  • Coordinate deliveries, carrier arrangements, freight bookings, and transportation activities.
  • Ensure stock availability aligns with customer expectations and commercial commitments.
  • Manage contract nominations, delivery planning, inventory control, and stock coordination.
  • Respond proactively to customer inquiries and provide timely operational support.
  • Prepare reports, monitor KPIs, and support administrative and control activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and business development initiatives.
  • Support transportation tender processes to secure competitive and reliable logistics services.
  • Promote and comply with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supply chain or logistics role.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Understanding of food safety, product quality, and environmental policies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
