THE OPPORTUNITY

Iron Bow is seeking an experienced Far East Modernization Lead to lead EPICS services across the Far East region of the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility (AOR). In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of EPICS services while serving as a key connection between mission partners and delivery teams.

You will work closely with mission partners to understand operational requirements, ensure services and projects remain aligned with mission objectives, and help drive the resolution of issues that could impact mission success. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and an understanding of complex mission environments.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Lead EPICS services across the Far East portion of the Indo-Pacific AOR.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of EPICS services within the region.
• Serve as a primary advocate for mission partner requirements, ensuring services, projects, and operational activities align with mission objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mission partners, technical teams, program leadership, and other key stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between mission partners and delivery teams to ensure requirements, priorities, and expectations are clearly understood.
• Coordinate the resolution and escalation of technical, operational, and service-related issues.
• Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and mission effectiveness.
• Gather and evaluate mission partner feedback and translate it into actionable service improvements.
• Help ensure modernization initiatives remain aligned with operational requirements and evolving mission needs.
• Provide leadership and coordination across geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders throughout the Far East region.
• Support program reporting, operational reviews, and other activities necessary to maintain visibility into service performance and mission partner priorities.

SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS

• Experience leading complex IT modernization, infrastructure, or technology service delivery efforts in large-scale environments.
• Experience overseeing the design, implementation, and operations of enterprise technology services.
• Strong understanding of IT service delivery and operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers, mission partners, or senior stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable priorities.
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional technical and operational teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple organizations.
• Experience managing technical and operational issues, escalations, and competing priorities.
• Ability to evaluate service performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive solutions that improve customer and mission outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed, mission-focused environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
