The Investor Services Specialist is responsible for delivering investor servicing, regulatory reporting, and compliance support functions across a diverse portfolio of client entities. Acting as a key liaison between clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, the role supports investor lifecycle activities, regulatory reporting obligations, due diligence reviews, data management, and ongoing compliance requirements.
In addition to core investor services responsibilities, the role serves as the Financial Institution's Principal Point of Contact ("PPOC") with the Tax Information Authority ("TIA") and is responsible for overseeing the administration of the Cayman Islands Automatic Exchange of Information ("AEOI") regime, including the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ("FATCA") and Common Reporting Standard ("CRS"). This includes management of Financial Institution registrations, notifications, reporting obligations, user administration, and regulatory correspondence through the Cayman Islands DITC Portal.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Investor servicing and relationship support - Deliver high-quality support to clients and investors while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- FATCA and CRS due diligence reviews and reporting - Review due diligence documentation and support FATCA and CRS reporting obligations.
- DITC Portal administration and PPOC responsibilities - Manage DITC Portal activities and act as the Financial Institution's Principal Point of Contact with the TIA.
- Regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring - Coordinate regulatory filings and monitor compliance with applicable reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Client onboarding and investor data management - Support onboarding activities and maintain accurate investor and entity records.
- Stakeholder engagement and regulatory correspondence - Liaise with clients, internal teams, regulators, and service providers to facilitate compliance activities.
- Maintenance of compliance records, controls, and governance frameworks - Maintain accurate records and support the effective operation of compliance controls and governance processes.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and implementing process enhancements - Monitor regulatory changes and contribute to continuous improvement of compliance processes and procedures.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications are required?
- In-depth knowledge of shareholder AML/KYC requirements under Cayman regulations.
- Strong knowledge of FATCA,CRS, and DITC Portal administration, including reporting, notifications, user management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Understanding of corporate governance,regulatory requirements, and local laws related to the administration of corporate structures in the Cayman Islands.
- Knowledge of Cayman Islands corporate entities and their types.
- Experience with CORIS, EDMS, View Point, SAP, AIS, Elite, and Titan management is advantageous. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in fund administration, investor services, transfer agency, client services, or a related financial services environment.
- Experience supporting investor onboarding, AML/KYC reviews, and shareholder servicing activities.
- Experience with FATCA and CRS reporting obligations is preferred.
- Prior experience working with the Cayman Islands DITC Portal would be advantageous
