Junior Service Technician

As a Junior Service Technician, you will support the servicing and maintenance of Borehole Enlargement (BHE) tools at NOV's Atyrau Service Center. You'll work as part of an experienced team, following established service procedures and safety standards to ensure equipment is inspected, maintained, tested, and prepared for customer operations.

This is an entry-level technical position suited to candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work and want to build a long-term career in equipment service and maintenance.

• Assist with the assembly, disassembly, inspection, servicing, and testing of Borehole Enlargement tools.
• Prepare equipment for inspection, maintenance, painting, and dispatch.
• Perform workshop activities while following NOV's quality and HSE procedures.
• Identify components, complete measurements, and record service information accurately.
• Support non-destructive testing (NDT) preparation and equipment inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Assist with warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
• Support field service activities when required.
• Work closely with experienced technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Essential

• Completed secondary school, vocational school, or technical college.

• Interest in mechanical equipment and practical, hands-on work.

• Basic English language skills.

• Willingness to learn and follow technical procedures.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Basic computer skills.

  Preferred

• Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, construction, or warehouse environment.

• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring equipment.

• Forklift or overhead crane certification is an advantage.
