You develop filling processes for innovative dental products, conduct experiments, and derive process requirements. In close collaboration with material development, mechanical engineering, and production teams, you help translate new ideas into robust manufacturing solutions. You also evaluate new filling technologies and support their transfer into commercial production.
Your role
- You will be responsible for process development with a focus on the filling of innovative dental products
- You will be part of an agile development team and work closely with interfaces in material development, mechanical engineering, and production
- You will be responsible for the design and setup of test rigs for filling dental products into challenging packaging formats while ensuring the required product quality
- You will conduct experiments to derive key design requirements and process parameters
- You will identify and evaluate new filling technologies
- You will recommend suitable production equipment and define the necessary requirements for transfer into commercial manufacturing
Your profile
- Degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering
- Ideally, in-depth knowledge of dosing and filling technologies in the food or cosmetics industry
- Strong understanding of the interaction between materials and manufacturing processes
- Expertise in reporting, interpreting, and documenting scientific results
- Quality-conscious, structured, and self-driven working style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
