Operational Excellence Manager

Drive continuous improvement

You are passionate about the future of manufacturing and logistics, recognize the potential of new technologies at an early stage, and leverage them purposefully to make processes smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.

Your role

  • You lead national and international optimization and transformation projects based on Lean principles.
  • You analyze value streams, manufacturing and logistics processes, and develop innovative, data-driven solutions to sustainably improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • You design and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching programs for employees, managers, and experts at all organizational levels.
  • You enable local Lean champions, teams, and leaders to successfully apply modern methods and digital tools in their daily work.
  • You are responsible for implementing global Lean projects and leadership coaching programs focused on behavioral transformation.
  • You conduct assessments at Ivoclar Group's international locations.
  • You independently develop roadmaps, project approaches, and workshop concepts, and define guidelines and standards in collaboration with the global Lean team.
  • You identify opportunities for applying modern technologies and data-driven ways of working across the entire value chain.

Your profile

  • A university degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field of study
  • Experience in optimizing manufacturing, logistics, or value creation processes in an industrial environment
  • Solid knowledge of Lean methodologies, project management, and change and transformation management
  • A strong affinity for digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and automation
  • Experience using modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions) to improve efficiency in day-to-day work
  • Excellent skills in visualizing ideas and processes using tools and methods such as PowerPoint, Miro, Figma, Bikablo, Sketchnoting, or comparable approaches
  • A hands-on mindset with a strong drive for execution and a passion for pragmatically testing and implementing new solutions
  • A strong consulting mindset combined with excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
