We are looking for an individual who is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency across manufacturing processes. The role focuses on identifying automation opportunities, developing innovative engineering solutions, and supporting the successful deployment of automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze operational data to assess automation opportunities, feasibility, and business impact.
- Design and develop automation solutions using engineering principles, CAD tools, and control systems.
- Create mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic designs for automation projects.
- Develop machine control logic, system workflows, and programming required for automation solutions.
- Support fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning, and implementation of automated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement automation initiatives and drive operational improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials for end users.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify innovative automation opportunities.
- Support project execution while ensuring compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational goals.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Knowledge of electronics, automation systems, and programming concepts.
- Experience in CAD design, machine design, and prototyping.
- Understanding of PLCs, embedded systems, sensors, and industrial automation technologies.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Apps for data visualization, reporting, and process automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to conduct research, evaluate new technologies, and develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical documentation.
