Machine Shop Trainee Workshop Mechanic

Kaunas Aircraft Maintenance Services (KAMS) is growing and actively looking for new team members for the upcoming season! We are seeking a Machine Operator trainee. We will provide all necessary training and the opportunity to learn from industry professionals while advancing your career in aviation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, replacement, tool manufacturing, and refurbishing of aircraft components and support equipment
• Operation of milling and turning machines (lathes)
• Maintenance of workshop machinery and equipment
• Work with internal company computer systems
• Shift work schedule: 5/3 from 07:00 to 19:00

Requirements

• Responsibility, diligence, and initiative
• Basic technical skills
• Knowledge of English
• Experience with CNC milling and/or turning (lathe) machines is a strong advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an advantage
• Experience in drafting/technical drawing is an advantage
• Experience using Autodesk software is an advantage
