PURPOSE

To provide a seamless, friendly, and professional service experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction, contributing to overall store profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Level Certificate
• Relevant experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service environment

ADVANTAGEOUS:

• Experience as a waiter/waitress
• Hospitality or catering training
• POS (till system) knowledge

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Hospitality

• Welcome and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Provide menu recommendations and product knowledge
• Ensure customers are satisfied throughout their visit

Service Delivery

• Serve food and beverages according to standards
• Communicate orders clearly with kitchen staff
• Ensure timely service and follow up on customer needs

Table Management & Housekeeping

• Prepare and set tables
• Clear and clean tables after service
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café

Cash Handling & Operations

• Process customer payments
• Perform daily cash-ups according to procedures
• Participate in stocktakes and operational tasks
