As a Global SAP partner, Capgemini is one of the world's largest and most experienced SAP systems integrators, with 17,800 practitioners and over 40 years of experience. We support clients to implement highly scalable solutions in Digital Core Transformation, Commerce and LOB Transformation, Advanced Analytics, OnePath for SAP and SAP Innovation.

As a Functional Consultant, you are part of a cross functional deployment team which will enable the customer to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. Your role includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes and testing to ensure conversion success. Key deliverables include functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios and you are responsible for knowledge transfer to local business users. The focus of this role is the SAP Order Management (OM) function.

Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include working with clients to understand requirements, solutioning, system configuration and documentation.

  • Creating / validating process maps
  • Running fit-to-standard workshops
  • Configuration, functional specification and test case documentation
  • Performing system configuration and unit tests
  • Execution of test cases
  • Providing status and planning input to program leadership

Requirements:

  • Functional resource with experience in Forecast and Planning using SAP IBP
  • 10+ years of professional industry experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP, including at least 3 full-cycle implementations
  • Solid exposure to SAP modules including MM, SD, and APO (highly regarded)
  • Extensive experience in Demand and Supply Planning
  • Proven S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) expertise
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Industry experience across Manufacturing, Consumer Products, and/or Life Sciences
