Smart Environmental Ltd works on behalf of local councils, businesses, and communities, providing rubbish and recycling collection services. As part of Blue Planet, with a large fleet of collection vehicles and linehaul operations, our mission is to divert waste from landfill and create more sustainable communities

About the Role:

Location: Rotorua

Contract Type: Permanent Part-time

Days of Work: Monday – Friday

Hours of work: 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check bins and ensuring the recycling is not contaminated

• Ensuring quality and compliance in the community.

• Maintaining customer relations.

• Communicating with the General Public

What are we looking for?

• Holds a class 1 Driver Licence.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify compliance issues.

• Physically fit
