Logistics Support

About the role:

This 12-month fixed-term Logistics Support role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.

As Logistics Support you will be assisting in the daily operations of storeroom, transportation and fleet management with a focus on inward/outward goods, administrative tasks and troubleshooting. The role will have a mix of computer work, manual handling and driving and no two days will be the same.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring timely delivery of goods, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Driving a company car is a requirement for this role.

Requirements for this role:

• A clean and current Full NZ driver’s licence
• A confident driver in all environments
• Excellent computer skills
• Fit and active – as manual handling is required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work autonomously and/or as part of a team
• Eligible to work in New Zealand

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating logistics operations and activities.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
• Support the logistics team in scheduling and tracking shipments.
• Communicate with suppliers and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and reports.
• Identify and resolve any logistical issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday to Friday between hours 7:30 am and 4.00 pm (Ability to cover courier runs as required - additional)
