What You’ll Be Doing
As a Unit Coordinator with us, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional, resident-centred care. Every day you will:
• Provide strong clinical leadership, supporting staff, coordinating workloads and fostering a positive team culture.
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that prioritises resident safety, dignity and wellbeing.
• Coordinate individualised care plans and clinical reviews in partnership with residents, families/whānau and the multidisciplinary team.
• Promote quality improvement, infection control, safe practice, compliance and high standards of clinical documentation.
• Support the Clinical Coordinator with audits, resource management, quality initiatives and wider clinical responsibilities.
Your work will directly enhance the wellbeing, comfort, and dignity of our residents.
What We’re Looking For
• A current NZ Registered Nurse practising certificate
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Genuine compassion and a passion for caring for older people
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Confidence in leading and supporting care staff
• A collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous learning
• Comfort using standard IT and clinical systems
