Introduction:
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at The Aga Khan University is a leading academic and diagnostic center that supports patient care across Pakistan through its comprehensive laboratory services. The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) Clinical Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and delivers high-quality diagnostic services through its main campus laboratory, a wide network of specimen collection units, and Stat laboratories.
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine comprises five major sections: Chemical Pathology, Hematology & Transfusion Medicine, Histopathology, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology. The Histopathology section plays a critical role in disease diagnosis and patient management through accurate reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- Visits Doctors / Physicians regularly to get their feedback in order to improve Laboratory services
- Discusses issues with the doctors related to lab tests / service and ensure feedback from AKUH and maintain records of the same.
- Coordinates about the technical activities with on-campus i outreach laboratories to ensure proper collection and transportation of specimens and timely delivery of reports to patients.
- Collects data and keep records of referring physicians / hospitals / clinics, number of Patients referred number of tests and revenue on monthly basis.
- Achieve revenue and volume budget targets signed Phlebotomy Stations by Developing and implementing effective strategies.
- Responsible for regular visits to assigned Collection Points and perform quality safety and financial audits. Also assist in internal audits and environmental rounds.
- Organize events such as Continuous Medical Education (CME), Health Awareness Program
- Any other duty or responsibility assigned by the Charge Technologist.
Requirements:
You should have:
- MBA (Marketing) or equivalent or Bachelor with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- 3-5 years' experience in Business Marketing, preferably in a Hospital set-up
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including Data Maintenance, Data Analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hard working and willing to travel.
- Clinical Laboratory test knowledge.
