As a Product Expert focused on Real-Time Payments and QR Acceptance, your primary responsibility involves spearheading the development and growth of next-generation payment acceptance solutions including Tap on Phone, QR/RAAST, Future payments, and Request to Pay - tailored for the retail and offline sectors within Pakistan. Your role encompasses identifying strategic partnerships to expand and refine payment acceptance offerings while innovating in-house solutions that position JazzCash at the forefront of real-time and QR-based payments in the country.

Key Responsibilities of Product Expert – Real-Time Payments & QR:

• Research and develop innovative Tap on Phone, QR/RAAST, and RTP acceptance solutions through market insights and international benchmarks.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build payment use cases spanning USSD, App, and online platforms.
• Conceptualize forward-thinking real-time payment and QR acceptance solutions aligned with JazzCash’s long-term strategy.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Future payments, from requirements through GTM.
• Create detailed product requirements for technological implementation and devise GTM strategies with marketing teams.
• Conduct meticulous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all solutions before launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including SBP/RAAST scheme stakeholders, for timely execution of deliverables.
• Engage with local and international payment schemes and service providers to enable seamless real-time retail payments.
• Analyze merchant and customer behavior, collaborating with teams to enhance the acceptance experience and drive adoption of digital acceptance.
• Manage insights and reporting for all developed real-time payments and QR acceptance solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications for Product Expert – Real-Time Payments & QR:

• Master’s/bachelor’s degree in management/business or a related field.

• 5+ years of direct experience in product management or product development roles within the financial technology (fintech) industry, specifically working with payment schemes, RAAST/instant payment rails, or similar systems.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or managing QR and real-time payment acceptance solutions, including QR code-based payments, Tap on Phone, Request to Pay, and Acquiring setups, with a proven track record of successful project implementations.

• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, Tableau, and Trello for project management, data analysis, and visualization in the context of payment solutions.

• Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills (both written and verbal) for collaborating with scheme providers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.

• A demonstrated results-driven approach, ability to work independently and within teams, and a history of driving successful projects in the payments domain.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
