As our new Field Service Engineer, you'll be delivering expert on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair services for Grundfos pump systems and water technology solutions that keep critical infrastructure running reliably across diverse customer environments. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Field Service team, you'll create impact by providing hands-on technical expertise that maximizes system uptime and strengthens long-term customer relationships.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and start-up of Grundfos pump systems and water technology solutions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues on customer equipment in the field
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to optimize system performance and extend equipment life
• Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and recommend system improvements to customers
• Collaborate with sales, applications, and technical support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers on proper operation and maintenance of Grundfos products

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a hands-on technical problem solver with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent customer-facing communication skills, and a genuine drive to deliver outstanding field service. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

• 3+ years of field service experience with pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial mechanical/electrical systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and basic PLC/VFD troubleshooting
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across the assigned territory
• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline

It's a plus if you also:

• Experience with Grundfos or similar pump and water technology products
• Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and HVAC applications
• Relevant certifications such as journeyman electrician, OSHA 10/30, or confined space entry
