Cloud Data Engineer

The role

As a Data Engineer, you will be implementing data engineering and BI projects using Microsoft services, in both cloud and on-prem client infrastructures. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Build data pipelines to move and transform data across cloud and on‑prem systems
• Develop optimised data models ensuring performance, scalability and data quality
• Integrate data from multiple sources while applying governance and quality controls
• Implement optimised datasets for reporting and analytics
• Work with stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable data solutions.

Your profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of experience in ETL/ELT and data integration using Azure and/or Databricks
• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL/KQL) and Python/PySpark for data transformation and processing, with hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks
• Strong understanding of data architecture and modelling (dimensional/relational), with experience in scalable cloud and on‑prem platforms (SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
• Know-how in data quality, governance and/or Power BI data modelling
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
