Business Controller

Your Mission:

Be the challenging Business Partner for the respective Management Team members and through good understanding of the business and processes ensure effective decision making. This will ensure driving sustainable cost efficiency for Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas.

The Business Controller is part of our business control team and works in close cooperation with his stakeholder(s) in and outside of Finance.

Who will you report to: Strategic Business Control Manager

Location: Vialonga

Your Responsibilities:

• Partner with Support Functions to translate financial information into practical insights that support confident and informed business decisions
• Lead planning and forecasting activities helping teams manage resources in line with business priorities and value creation opportunities
• Promote cost awareness, productivity and simplification through collaborative and solution-oriented business partnering.
• Coordinate productivity initiatives with business leaders, tracking productivity benefits and supporting business cases, helping teams turn initiatives into measurable value creation.
• Support effective resource management, ensuring financial information is well structured, meaningful and easy to use.
• Contribute to investment planning and business case preparation, helping resources flow to initiatives with the strongest value potential.
• Strengthen collaboration between Support Functions and Finance through accurate reporting, clear communication and proactive follow-up.

We want you to bring:

• University degree, with preference for Finance, Economics, or Management;
• 4-7 years relevant experience in business controlling, CAPEX control or support functions controlling, preferably in a multinational or FMCG environment;

preferably in Commerce and/or Customer service and Logistics controlling / Business Control roles in multinational corporations, FMCG;

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Pro-active and self-starting attitude with well-developed business partnering skillset;
• Drive for continuous professional development and team player;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Highly proficient in MS office (Excel); experience with SAP and Power BI is considered advantage.
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English;
• Valid legal documentation for employment in Portugal (mandatory requirement).
