Your new responsibilities

The Tax Specialist (d/m/f) is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of all processes related to local tax compliance. The role ensures full compliance with local tax regulations and delivers high quality tax compliance activities, while supporting business operations and managing tax risks:

• Overall responsibility for direct taxation, withholding tax (WHT), and tax accounting
• Ensuring compliance of tax processes, including their continuous improvement and further development
• Acting as a key contact and trusted partner for tax-related questions and issues arising from projects or day to day business operations
• Identification, evaluation, and reporting of tax risks
• Continuous monitoring of performance metrics and proactive implementation of process improvements to enhance consistency, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Managing and contributing to the mitigation of identified tax risks

Who we are looking for

• University degree with a focus on taxation or a comparable qualification
• At least 5–7 years of professional experience in tax within an international company or a Big 4 firm
• Very good SAP knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong business acumen and intercultural competence
• Process oriented mindset with a hands on mentality
• Strong analytical, methodological, and problem solving skills
• Fluent English and German and/or a third EU or other foreign language is an advantage

Salary package starts from 2.350 EUR/month gross, depending on relevant experience and other skills according to the requirements of the given position.
