About the Role:
One of our clients is hiring a General Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support monthly/yearly closings. You'll work closely with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance and deliver timely financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger
- Perform account reconciliations (banks, vendors, clients)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
- Coordinate with external auditors and handle legal/regulatory requirements
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Support procurement processes and purchase order tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–3 years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Arabic and English
- Experience coordinating with auditors and legal/compliance matters
