Country Manager (Vietnam)
- LittleLives
- Hanoi, Vietnam
- VND 600,000,000 – VND 1,080,000,000
We are a fast-growing SaaS company in the EduTech space, operating mainly in Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with almost 2000 schools as customers. Our mission is to revolutionize early childhood education through technology and provide innovative, scalable solutions to our customers.
About the Position
Title: Country Manager
Location: Hanoi
Reports to: CEO / Regional Leadership
About the Role
We are looking for a Vietnam Country Manager to own and grow LittleLives’ business in Vietnam.
This is a hands-on market-building role. You will start as the first core commercial leader for Vietnam, personally driving sales, developing key customer relationships and establishing the go-to-market engine.
As the business gains traction, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the team required to scale the Vietnam market.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable closing the first deals personally and building the organisation that can deliver the next stage of growth.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Personally Drive Sales & Revenue
In the initial stage, you will personally own the full sales cycle:
Prospect and build a pipeline of potential customers.
- Pitch, demo, negotiate and close deals.
- Build relationships with preschool owners, education groups and senior decision-makers.
- Personally lead strategic and enterprise opportunities.
- Develop partnerships and channels that generate new business.
- Build a strong understanding of customer buying behaviour, objections and decision-making.
- Establish a repeatable sales process that can eventually be scaled through a larger team.
This is not a role where you join and immediately delegate sales to a team. We expect the Country Manager to first understand the market and demonstrate what works.
2. Own Vietnam Business Performance
You will take overall ownership of Vietnam's commercial performance, including:
ARR / MRR growth
- New customer acquisition
- Pipeline and conversion
- Customer retention
- Expansion revenue
- Strategic account development
- Market share growth
You will develop the annual Vietnam strategy and translate it into clear quarterly and monthly execution plans.
3. Build the Vietnam Market
You will develop LittleLives’ position within the Vietnam education ecosystem. This includes:
Defining priority customer segments and ICP.
- Developing strategic and multi-centre education accounts.
- Identifying opportunities to expand market share.
- Understanding competitors, pricing and customer behaviour.
- Testing and refining different go-to-market strategies.
- Developing partnerships and industry relationships.
- Identifying new business and revenue opportunities for the Vietnam market.
4. Retain & Grow Existing Customers
You will also ensure that growth is sustainable. You will:
- Develop strong relationships with key existing customers.
- Identify churn risks and lead recovery plans.
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
- Ensure customers realise value from LittleLives.
- Work with Customer Success and Product teams to resolve important market issues.
- Turn customer feedback into actionable commercial and product insights.
5. Build the Team as the Market Grows
Initially, this will be a highly hands-on role. As revenue and market opportunities grow, you will:
- Determine what capabilities and resources are required to scale.
- Recruit and develop the Vietnam team.
- Build clear roles, KPIs and accountability.
- Develop future sales and customer leaders.
- Create scalable processes without introducing unnecessary complexity.
- Continue maintaining direct relationships with strategic customers.
Team growth should follow business growth. When the market demonstrates the opportunity, we are prepared to invest and scale.
6. Be the Voice of Vietnam
You will be the internal owner of Vietnam market knowledge. You will work closely with regional Product, Marketing, Customer Success and leadership teams to:
- Represent Vietnam customer and market needs.
- Provide competitor and market intelligence.
- Identify scalable product opportunities.
- Support localisation and market-specific requirements.
- Validate new products and business models.
- Identify opportunities for new revenue streams and partnerships.
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, country management or commercial leadership.
- Strong track record in B2B sales and personally closing deals.
- Experience building a market, business unit or commercial function.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking.
- Able to operate hands-on while also thinking about how to scale.
- Strong relationships and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working with founders, business owners and senior executives.
- Data-driven and comfortable owning revenue targets and forecasts.
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with software and technology
- Experience in SaaS, EdTech, education or technology is preferred.
- Fluent Vietnamese and business English
We are looking for a builder first and a manager second.
Someone who is excited to: Sell → Learn → Prove → Build → Scale.
You should be willing to personally create the early momentum, while having the leadership capability to build a much larger Vietnam business when the opportunity is proven.
