Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead on-site containment and resolution of quality issues for KD vehicle parts at European plants; coordinate with European plants and manage the IQC team’s on-site operations.
2. Serve as the key interface for quality issues related to KD models in European plants; drive supplier root-cause improvement through the Chinese SQE team.
3. Support pre-selection and nomination of localized suppliers in Europe.
4. Lead APQP for localized European suppliers’ parts, including PV validation and PPAP approval.
5. Improve mass-production quality management for European suppliers, ensuring part consistency and process stability.
6. Drive corrective actions for aftersales/warranty quality issues with localized European suppliers.

Qualifications

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management.
3. Strong knowledge of APQP development process for new vehicle programs, including process management methods and key control points.
4. Familiar with IATF 16949 and/or VDA 6.3; experienced in supplier quality system audits.
5. Proficient in QC tools; skilled in 8D problem-solving and 5-Why analysis.
6. Strong communication and coordination skills; able to use either German + Chinese or English + Chinese as working languages (spoken communication required).
