Greencross Vets Coburg, is located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, only 25 minutes from Melbourne CBD and a quick 5 minute drive to the beautiful Darebin Creek Forest Park. There are numerous cafes, restaurants, parks, shops and attractions to discover all within a close proximity. Greencross Coburg is conveniently located in a busy Petbarn store so clients/shoppers have easy access to both store and clinic.
Our Coburg team is a close-knit and supportive group made up of a Veterinary Director, 2 Veterinary Associates and 5 veterinary nurses. Led by a Practice Manager who has been part of the Coburg team for the past two years and within the Greencross network for several years, the clinic fosters a collaborative and welcoming culture. We also enjoy strong relationships with nearby Greencross clinics, creating opportunities for mentorship, knowledge sharing and additional support across the wider network. Communication is at the heart of what we do, with regular team and clinical meetings ensuring everyone feels connected, supported and empowered to grow.
Job Description

That's why we offer flexible rostering for both part-time and full-time veterinarians, with the opportunity to tailor your week around consulting and/or surgical days. You tell us how you like to work, and we'll do our best to make it happen. With only 1 in 4 Saturdays (4-hour shift) as part of the roster, you'll enjoy the balance of being part of a busy, rewarding clinic while still having plenty of time outside of work.
Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage your cases with the mentoring and support of our experienced team. Collaboration and mentoring both to and from your colleagues is always welcomed.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
