People Partnering Manager

We transform waste into resources and renewable energy. When you start to think of waste as a resource, it opens a world of possibilities.

Join us and contribute to making a sustainable future possible, together!

The Opportunity

Partnering closely with senior executives across Cleanaway’s corporate and support functions, you will have significant scope to influence business performance through a period of transformation and change.

You’ll be operating in an environment where priorities evolve and not every challenge comes with an established framework. Success will come through understanding the commercial context, building credibility and bringing clear thinking to complex organisational issues.

  • Build trusted relationships with executives, providing commercially grounded advice and constructive challenge across a broad people agenda.
  • Partner on significant transformation, restructuring and operating model initiatives across key corporate functions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, creating clarity and strengthening partnering capability across the portfolio.
  • Influence workforce, talent, performance and leadership priorities in support of business strategy.
  • Navigate complex organisational matters, balancing commercial priorities, people considerations and risk while drawing on specialist expertise where required.

About You

You’ve built your HR career in complex organisations where effective partnering requires more than technical expertise. You understand how businesses operate, can establish credibility with senior leaders and are comfortable moving between strategic priorities and complex operational issues.

  • Significant HR or people partnering experience supporting executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Broad generalist capability spanning people strategy, talent, performance, capability and organisational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting transformation, restructuring, organisational change or operating model evolution.
  • Strong influencing capability, including the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing HR professionals.
  • Working knowledge of ER/IR, ideally gained in an industrial, operational or large-workforce environment, with the judgement to identify risk and engage specialist support where required.
