MuleSoft Developer (All Levels)

We are also the company behind two software solutions for office work – our workplace management software, Desk Buddy, and our performance management software, GROW.

About the project:

In partnership with a major French banking group, we are on a mission to build a team located in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, starting with opening for all levels MuleSoft Developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Mule 4 applications and APIs on the Anypoint Platform, following API-led connectivity principles.
• Build high-volume data flows that process millions of rows, using batch processing, streaming, parallelism, and pagination to keep performance and memory usage under control.
• Integrate with Salesforce using the REST API and Bulk API (1.0 and 2.0), choosing the right approach based on data volume and use case.
• Write efficient DataWeave transformations for large and complex payloads.
• Develop custom Java components or modules where out-of-the-box connectors aren't enough.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, and work with relational databases for extraction, staging, and loading of large datasets.
• Work alongside or migrate from existing ETL processes built in tools such as Informatica or Talend.
• Write unit and integration tests with MUnit, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with architects, Salesforce teams, and client stakeholders on requirements and technical design.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0).
• Experience designing or building high-volume, performance-focused integration flows.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST and Bulk API) and a clear understanding of Governor Limits and how they affect integration design.
• A solid Java background, including object-oriented design, collections, and performance considerations.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL), including query optimization.
• Experience with at least one market-standard ETL tool such as Informatica or Talend.
• Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD practices.
• Good English communication skills.

What we expect by level

• Junior (1–2 years): Solid Java and SQL fundamentals, plus some exposure to MuleSoft (training, certification, or first project experience). Basic understanding of REST APIs and Salesforce integration concepts. Some exposure to an ETL tool through projects or coursework. Eager to learn high-volume design patterns under the guidance of senior colleagues.

• Mid (2–5 years): Independent delivery of MuleSoft integrations in production. Practical experience with the Salesforce Bulk API and handling Governor Limits. Has built batch or streaming flows processing large volumes. Comfortable writing custom Java components and tuning SQL. Hands-on work with Informatica or Talend on real projects.

• Senior (5+ years): Proven track record designing and optimizing flows that process millions of records reliably. Deep understanding of Salesforce API limits, bulk loading strategies, and trade-offs between API types. Can diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks across the whole pipeline. Experience migrating ETL workloads to MuleSoft or running them side by side. Mentors other developers, reviews code, and contributes to technical design decisions.
