Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Support Team.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students interested in developing skills in technology, networking, databases, system monitoring, problem-solving, and technical support for critical autonomous mining systems used in some of the world's largest mining operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the AHS Support Team in monitoring and supporting autonomous mining systems.
• Support the investigation and analysis of technical incidents and system issues.
• Assist in the management and follow-up of customer support tickets.
• Collect and analyze information to support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Assist with testing, validation, and health-check activities for AHS systems.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and support procedures.
• Assist with activities related to databases, networking, and operating systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Comply with company Health, Safety, Environmental, and Information Security policies.

Required Skills

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Computer Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Telecommunications Engineering
  • Or related Technology fields

• Basic knowledge in:

  • Windows and/or Linux operating systems;
  • Computer networking;
  • SQL databases;
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Intermediate English (reading and writing).

• Availability to work 6 hours per day as an intern.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of:

• Linux/Unix environments;
• Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL;
• TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and LTE networking concepts;
• System monitoring tools;
• Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Interest in:

• Autonomous systems;
• Mining technology;
• Industrial automation;
• Infrastructure and support of mission-critical systems.
